PALAK MUTTER

Simple, subtle and superb!
An aromatic Kashmiri vegetable flavoured with an unusual combination of spices.

Cooking Time : 20 mins.
Preparation Time : 10 mins.

Serves 4.

INGREDIANTS :

5 cups spinach (palak), finely chopped
1 cup green peas, boiled
2 cloves (laung)
25 mm. (1") stick cinnamon (dalchini)
¼ teaspoon asafoetida (hing)
1 teaspoon chilli powder
¼ teaspoon turmeric powder (haldi)
¼ teaspoon ginger powder (soonth)
½ cup milk
2 teaspoons oil
salt to taste
